Yad Yehuda’s Capital Closet is a welcoming, community-based clothing boutique offering a beautiful selection of new and like-new modest clothing, completely free of charge.

Our collection features quality clothing for men, women, children, and infants, including winter coats for the entire family. Each item is carefully inspected by dedicated community volunteers to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and condition.

At Capital Closet, we believe that everyone deserves access to beautiful, quality clothing in a comfortable and dignified shopping environment.

Who Can Shop?

Capital Closet proudly serves the Greater Washington Jewish community. As a community-based program, shoppers must be members of or affiliated with a synagogue in the Greater Washington area.

All clothing is provided completely free of charge.

Clothing Donations

We gratefully welcome donations of NEW clothing that has been purchased within the last 3 years to help us continue providing quality clothing to members of our community.

Please note that we do not accept linens, household items, sleepwear, undergarments, swimwear, shoes, toys, or stuffed animals.
